This listing is for a stagecoach trunk. It's nearly 160 years old.
I have been restoring trunks for over 20 years and have seen hundreds of trunks but this is the first stage coach trunk I have ever ran across.
Trunks are not hard to find but as far as stagecoach trunks there were very few made and have basically all disappeared.
The trunk actually had a leather covering which you can see is worn off in a lot of places plus the lock is missing, but the trunk is lucky that it even exists.
I bought this trunk in Ashland Kentucky years ago. I was told that it belonged to the family who founded Ashland.
If you are interested leave your name and number and a good time to call.
No need to ask if the item is still available, I take the ad down the minute the item sells.
